Markus Meissner holds a Degree in Civil Engineering and Water Management from BOKU University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. Since 2003 he has been working for the Austrian Institute of Ecology in the field of resource management. He is co-founder and board member of BauKarussell e.Gen.. For more than a decade he focuses on the topic “preparing for reuse” to facilitate circular economy in the sectors of household goods and demolition/deconstruction.

Daniel Orth holds a degree in Organization for Sustainability from Malmö University and an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Vienna. Since 2021 he is working in the Resource Management team at the Austrian institute of Ecology for a circular economy and sustainable construction in Austria and Europe.

Robert Lechner is managing director of the Austrian Institute of Ecology since 2004. He is leading the working group on urban and regional development and has been working in the field for over 30 years. In 2009 he co-founded the Austrian Sustainable Building Council and is consulting governments on strategies and policies for a sustainable development.
