Our partners Daniel Orth and markus meissner from the Österreichisches Ökologie-institut gave a workshop exploring the challenges of social urban mining in practice by the Baukarussell cooperative. The AIE started an exchange with the French ecosystem to explore similarities in tasks and challenges. The workshop emphasized the critical need for clarity in responsibilities, especially regarding warranties and liabilities. The focus on well-defined business cases and key instruments like warranty, liability and product insurance sets the stage for successful and responsible urban mining practices.
